Robins Tournament 2025 - U7 Jamboree Game Format

Robin’s Tournament – U7 Jamboree Rules 2025
*All games will be played half ice using small nets. No goalies or goalie equipment will be used.
1. Teams will be split up based on ability into A, B and C lines.
2. Each team plays two 33 - minute run time games back-to-back.
3. Teams to share benches, using one gate each.
4. *Blue (4oz) pucks will be used for all games.
5. Shifts will be one minute and thirty seconds (1:30) in length.
6. *Games can be 5v5, 4v4, 3v3 or any combination. The number of players will vary on teams and coaches should discuss the makeup of lines prior to puck drop. If a team is short players, coaches to discuss lines or adding players from other teams.
7. *The game will start with a faceoff, no other face-offs will be permitted.
8. *After a goal the team will retrieve the puck out of the net and start play, the scoring team will retreat to their own goal.
9. *On a line change, teams will start where the puck is on the playing surface. All players are to skate to the bench on a line changes. If a player is double-shifting, they must skate to the bench to "tag up".
10. One coach from each team will be required on the ice in skates and CSA approved helmet (that is done up) and stick to direct players, supervise and help keep the puck moving. Coaches are reminded to keep out of the play as much as possible and to support players on both teams. ONE COACH FROM EACH TEAM LEAVING THE ICE WILL BE REQUIRED TO HELP MOVE NETS AND BARRIERS DURING ANY FLOOD.
11. Rink will be divided into two sides by dividers/barriers. One side will be "Game Zone 1" and the other side will be "Game Zone 2"
